Euston Express Expansion Proposal
We have recently produced a proposal to improve on the HS2 Limited plans for Euston Station expansion. JRC proposes a solution which offers lower cost and disruption, minimising environmental damage and making use of the existing station space to provide the neccessary extra capacity. JRC is advising Camden petitioner Sam Price on the proposal, with Lord Berkeley.
We have put forward ideas such as constructing decks above existing platforms, which has been successful at other stations such as the London Victoria Brighton lines, and in fact there is already a deck in place at Euston albeit currently unused. We aim with this proposal to make use of all existing space, features and abandoned or unused areas instead of simply creating brand new constructions across space that encroaches on nearby residental and business areas.
